Make new connections, attend exclusive meetings, and discuss treasury challenges with seasoned peers.

Mission

The CTA’s goal is to unite the membership through in-person roundtables and networking events held throughout the year, which provide an opportunity to discuss common treasury challenges, and listen to solutions proposed by experienced and seasoned peers.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must hold a senior Treasury role within a Canadian organization with revenues, market capitalization, or assets exceeding C$1 billion. For clarity, Treasury is defined as the practice of cash management, financial risk management, and capital management, and includes oversight, accountability, and decision making for external banking, lending, capital markets, insurance, and rating agency partnerships, as applicable.

  • A minimum of two years’ relevant professional Treasury experience is recommended. Candidates with less experience may be considered if they demonstrate strong commitment to the treasury profession.

  • Applicants should reside or work primarily in Canada. Exceptions may be granted for those with significant professional ties to Canadian treasury operations.

Application Process

  • Submit a completed statement of interest, current CV or primary list of responsibilities and years of experience, and organizational profile.

  • The CTA Executive Committee will review applications for compliance.

  • Successful candidates will receive membership details and must consent to sharing their email information for CTA events and networking.

Membership Maintenance

  • Members are expected to attend quarterly CTA meetings and actively participate in
    roundtable discussions.
