In Remembrance of our Founder

It is with deep regret that we share the passing of Rob Stanley, a great leader and friend.  The Canadian treasury community owes an enormous debt to Rob Stanley, the founder of the Canadian Treasurer’s Association. He was a respected and widely admired corporate treasurer whose influence extended far beyond his own organizations. He founded the Association with a simple but powerful conviction: that Canadian treasury professionals would be stronger, more connected, and better equipped if they had a place to learn from one another. His leadership was marked by a genuine passion for bringing people together. We remember him not only for his technical excellence and mentorship, but for his and his tremendous charitable work and the community spirit he brought to every interaction. His legacy lives on in the collaborative, supportive Treasury network he helped build — a community that continues to reflect his vision.
